The Montauk, NY. visit to with Marshall was fabulous. Everywhere we went, all knew Marsall. It was like he was
a celebrity of some kind in the town. He must know where every fish is hiding, as everytime somone seen Marshall,
they asked, hey where's the fish, in a hush, hush tone..... There was a fishing tournament this week when I visited,
eveyone would gather at Pauly's Tackle Shop to see who had the highest weight record for the fish they caught, as everyone
wanted to win........ At night the beaches had camp fires blazing away, as we slowly drove down the beaches to see
what was going on, yes, camp fires and driving with trucks down the beach, is still pretty much the way of life here, as Montauk,
NY is the Fishing Capital of the World. I also learned many things about Marshall, one of them was, he was
awarded for his work with his radio station during the large earth quake that killed many in Italy, for he manned his
station to get information for many families in the US, about the welfare of many relatives in Italy, he was the
first one to hear MAYDAY from Italy........... His house is extremely nice, as many the fish he has caught over
the years in displayed for others to witness. Montauk is a very beautiful place to visit, only to be out done
by Marshall's graciousness ....Thanks for a super time......
